Experience the Fun…Savor the Accomplishment

When life is on “pause”, learning doesn’t have to be!

For over 40 years, the Community College of Baltimore County has offered a broad range of learning opportunities for senior adults. CCBC has a host of classes to let you stay sharp, stay fit, stay connected.  And we have made it easier than ever.  Wherever you are, wherever you travel, wherever you call home, SAIL@CCBC lets you keep the learning going…AND students 60+ tuition is waved so you only pay fees.

Want to pursue a hobby? Focus on your passion? Learn a language? Our handy ZOOM classes bring learning right to your fingertips…all in real-time so you can socialize and engage with others. Career change, promotions, finishing up a degree…these were, most likely, the reasons you may have taken classes when you were a bit younger. Now, you can take that learning time to focus on the things you like or give yourself the chance to try something that stretches your limits.

With all of us experiencing 2020 as a year of “shifting gears”, CCBC recognizes the challenges that are presented to the mature learner and while we still have some face-to-face classes for those who are near to campus locations, we have responded with remote learning you can take from anywhere on the globe, in any area that interests you. Explore something new, try an activity, tap into your creativity, or share your opinion on current events.  CCBC brings you a world of discovery…and you can have fun along the way.

SAIL@CCBC classes include:

  • Art
  • Computers
  • History, Politics & Events
