The Maryland Department of Aging, partnering with the Area Agencies on Aging and other organizations, provides leadership, advocacy, and access to information and services for Maryland seniors, their families, and caregivers. We have helped establish Maryland as an attractive location for all older adults through vibrant communities and supportive services that offer the opportunity to live healthy and meaningful lives. Please visit our website at aging.maryland.gov to learn about programs and services available for older adults. Due to the pandemic, all senior centers are closed until after termination of the state of emergency currently in place. While the buildings may be closed, the centers are still available to assist you over the phone and many are offering virtual services to keep you active and engaged. If you are in need of assistance, including food, social interaction, mental health services, and more, we encourage you to reach out to the Department to access the many services and programs we provide for Maryland residents.
